Here is a vintage Famille Rose Chinese export statue seen on eBay currently that reminds me of the seated man statue on the I Love Lucy Mantelpiece.
The pose is not an exact match but the man appears to represent the same character of a peasant man holding a scythe and sitting next to a bundle of roots or twigs he has gathered. You may know how rare these are if you have been looking for one.
